Microphones: Capture the source with a Telefunken U47 or Neumann U87 Ai. These mics are industry standards for a reason: they provide a "finished" sound right at the source.
Preamps & Processing: Run your signal through legendary Neve 1073 preamps and a Tube-Tech CL 1B compressor. This chain delivers that elusive "expensive" sound, rich low-mids and silky highs, before you even touch a plugin.
